I like to use French style, but most kinds, except maybe Hawaiian (which is more for a sweet/sour recipe), would be ideal in this Chicken Chop Suey. Chop Suey is a super popular Chinese American dish. Use your favorite mix of Stir-Fry Vegetables. Add the carrot, cauliflower, and snow peas: Add 2 oz carrot, 10 oz cauliflower, and 2 oz snow peas. Add the chicken: Add the seasoned chicken and stir-fry for 7 minutes. Other great veggie options include corn, mushrooms, sliced bell pepper, and bok choy. Give me a fork or even a spoon and I am happy, but I do not think I have the patience to use chopsticks. Saute the garlic: In a skillet over medium heat, add 2 tbsp canola oil and 1 tbsp garlic. Cook about 5 minutes longer or until meat is brown drain. This classic stir-fry dish is a crowd pleaser. Cook chicken in a tablespoon of oil in the hot skillet until gently browned but not overcooked. Cook over medium-high heat 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. 2) Combine with the oyster sauce, soy sauce, cornflour, sugar, and sesame oil, mix well and leave to stand for 20 minutes. The best part It only takes less than 30 minutes to come together. 2 Break meat into large pieces in 12-inch skillet.
